Investing in Waste as a Resource
It’s all about going circular these days. But weaving our current NYC waste system into a never-ending bundle of recycling and reuse is no easy task. Join us, and our Pioneer Partners, for an interactive conversation with organizations who have already ventured into investing in waste as a resource.

Time & Location
Mar 06, 2019, 8:30 AM – 11:00 AM
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, 601 Lexington Ave, 31st floor, New York, NY 10022, USA
About the event
As we take a deep dive in to world of resources, we want to explore how to enable New York to create a circular waste management system. Or what some would term a reprocessing industry, where the central role is to return valuable resources. By showcasing best practices and organizations who are pioneering this field, the aim is to inspire local change.
The panel session will include discussion on topics such as investment needs, promising technologies, economic incentives and local challenges. Next follows an interactive part where attendees in smaller groups will discuss promising trends and key enablers.
