About the event
Mission
Join the official opening event of Circular City Week New York together with our inspirational Pioneer Partners who are on the mission to spur action towards a circular system. The centerpiece of this event is about circular initiatives and the impact they have on a circular future. You will meet real-time examples presented by our partners in their respective sectors and discussions about the impact of initiatives that will leave you inspired.
Focus
Circular Economy initiatives have been gaining enormous traction in recent years in response to the urge to tackle global challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss, waste, and pollution. They are key drivers for ecosystems to connect, establish new collaborations and create innovative business models. In this opening session we are going to discuss what that looks like together with leaders from the energy sector and the built environment and what approaches are required for scaling impacts in cities and regions.
This in-person event symbolizes the official start of CCW2022 and invites to interaction with circular economy thought leaders, cross-sector conversations, and networking opportunities. Enjoy food and drinks in the warmth of spring on the outdoor roof terrace.
