Shaping our urban future
The last three years the project “Circularity City” brought together actors from Denmark to create the circular buildings of tomorrow. The results are nothing but astonishing – so why not bring global leading solutions to New York and accelerate circular construction and design?

1. Assemble

2. Innovate

3. Initiate and Scale
About the event
It is a pleasure, for the first time internationally to present the outcomes of Circularity City - one of the most ambitious urban circular development projects to be concluded! The last three years this public-private alliance brought together actors from all over Denmark to create the circular cities of tomorrow, focusing on value chain collaborations, upcycling, product innovation, and public procurement within architecture and construction.
At this event we will present the Circularity City project and invite you to co-create a circular city with us. In dynamic workshops we will take a close look at how we can accelerate the construction and design sector in New York. Therefore, we invite all stakeholders to collectively join three workshops where each workshop presents an important stepping stone how to turn circularity ideas into actionable outcomes.
The Circularity City project in Denmark managed to catapult sustainable business solutions to a whole new level. It is not a matter of IF companies should transform from a linear to circular approach anymore, but HOW to integrate circularity in their businesses – and this must happen NOW. The solutions that were created is not relevant for Danish stakeholders but have global relevance.
In the week of Circular City Week this project will - as a final - celebrate the many accomplishments and collaborations between businesses and municipalities achieved.
